Andreas Litras’ remarkable show Odyssey takes the audience on a journey through Homer’s epic poem, his family’s immigration to Australia and on the search for his own identity growing up as a Greek- Australian – “I didn’t want to be a wog”. Fusing the best of physical and conventional theatrical traditions, Litras brilliantly spins these three narratives together to make gold. TASMANIAN MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY, DECORATIVE ARTS GALLERY

The most significant donation of Chinese art and antiquities ever presented to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. The collection comprises more than 250 individual items from the Neolithic period through to the twentieth century. Professor Shiu Hon and Mrs. Nancy Wong’s donation is an excellent representation of Chinese culture and artistic endeavour.
